  1. How to play ONO:
  2.  
  3.      The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards by matching
  4. either colors or numbers and face patterns.  Player turns proceed in the
  5. order indicated by the arrow at the left.  Each player must either play
  6. a card that matches the color or pattern of the upturned card at right,
  7. play a special wild card, or draw a card if no matches or plays can be
  8. made.  To play a card in your hand, point to it with the mouse arrow
  9. and click the mouse button.  The card will be placed on the play stack
  10. (if legal) and the next player will try to make a match.  Special cards
  11. include:

  13.         Reverse: reverse the order of players' turns
  14.         Skip: force the next player to skip a turn
  15.         Draw2: force the next player to take two cards and lose a turn
  16.         Wild: the player dealing this card may pick the active color
  17.         Wild4: pick the active color and force the next player to
  18.                 draw four cards and lose a turn!  This card may only
  19.                 be played if you cannot match the current color with
  20.                 a regular card.

  22. If you cannot play a card, click on the stack pile with the mouse.  The
  23. card that is turned up may either be played (if legal) by clicking on the
  24. play pile or added to your hand by clicking on your cards.  Thus, a drawn
  25. card may be played right away or saved.  To pick the color for a wild
  26. card, click with the mouse on the desired color in the color box at the
  27. right.  Note that because wild cards have no color until you choose, they
  28. may be matched with any other card, and you may choose to keep the same
  29. color in play.

  31.      The command buttons at the left have the following uses:

  33.      Help - displays this help file
  34.      Sound - turns sound on or off
  35.      Sort - sort the cards in your hand by color and value
  36.      Manual/Auto - change the style of play, with "auto" advancing
  37.       turns and displaying messages after a certain length of time,
  38.       and "manual" waiting for a mouse click before action proceeds
  39.      Fast / Slow - change the rate at which "auto" play proceeds
  40.      Restart - redeal a new game
  41.      Quit - leave the program
