ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:
Thanks to Vyper (again!) for providing me some new information
so that I can improve the performance of this mission.
Secondly, thanks to Rick and Thad for playtesting the mission
for me.
Thanks to Michael for providing me with the idea of the rebel
technology. If you lot don't like the new tech. You've got him
to blame!<g>
Last but not least, thank you Shadow Leader for allowing me to
make this a mission for the SSFW.
SSFW: For those of you who aren't in a squadron yet and is interested
in joining one, please download the file SSFW4.ZIP (Nov 94).
It will tell you all the infomation on the Shadow Strike Force
Wing and tell you how to join. An example of the requirements
needed is shown below (NB Reapers is an intermediate squad):
The requirements are as follows:
_______________________________________________________________
(1) A desire to serve the Empire and the Imperial Navy as a Strike Fighter
Pilot.
(2) Fly TIE Fighter at its hardest level of difficulty
(3) Fly in stock (unmodified) starfighters
(4) Minimum rank of Commander and Fourth Circle of the Secret Order of the
Empire
(5) Have COMPLETED level eight in the Training Simulator for each of
T/F, T/I, T/B, T/A, and GUN.
(6) Have been awarded the Gold Medallion for all Combat Chamber starfighters.
(7) Have completed battles 1-6
(8) Have 250 Kills.
(9) Have completed 18 secondary mission objectives, and 12 bonus mission
objectives.
(10) A clip of primary mission complete for T/I Combat Chamber Mission 4.
If you're interested in the Reaper Squadron please send your pilot file and
bio to Rick Morrissy, Reaper XO @74453,2244. (Applicants from SF/A-1,
please contact your commander for transfer approval before applying.)
THE CHOICE OF USING REAPER SQUADRON AS AN EXAMPLE IS PURELY ARBITARY
(Believe that and you'll believe anything!<g>)
The mission: This mission should be the first mission of a new battle. Three
quarters of the second mission is done, but it is likely to wait
till the Tie Mission builder comes out before I could finish it.
Unless Vyper and I manages to find some groundbreaking new info.
So don't delete the pilot after you've finish the mission!
How to install it?
Copy this files into your TIE\MISSION directory.
Then run NTSETUP.BAT
This will install the Mission as Battle 2 of Mission 1.
Your original mission file will be renamed into:
B2M1FW.SAV
If you want to play that original mission again, then
you have to delete B2M1FW.TIE
Then rename B2M1FW.SAV into B2M1FW.TIE
Have fun with the new tech!
If you have any comments please send them to me. I'm not too happy with the
difficulty of the mission. You lot might find it too easy. So I was wondering
if I should arm all crafts with advanced concussion missles! Anyway, I
uploaded the easy version. If you all find it too easy I'll upload the hard
version. Suggestions on how to improve the mission are welcomed. Please do
send me some comments or else I won't be able to improve on the missions! I
didn't get alot of feedback from my last one! :<
If you find any bugs or irregularities, please tell.
DISCLAIMER: This mission is the product of many sleepless nights. If
similarities to any original mission files are found, it
is purely coincidental.

BTW If you don't like what happens at the end of mission, blame the person
who posted a thread on a certain Historical mission. (Actually, I think it
might be Shadow Leader himself!<g>) I only added the last flight group in
after I read the thread!
