TIMELORD(1L)
NAME
timelord - time server daemon for Macintoshes running
'tardis'
SYNOPSIS
timelord [-d] [-l logfile] [-n name]
DESCRIPTION
timelord provides the equivalent of the Macintosh cdev
'Timelord' for a network of Macintoshes. Timelord is a time
server that can be used to set the Macintosh time at boot or
from the Chooser using the rdev 'tardis'.
The -l option allows use to be monitored in 'logfile'
(default is /dev/null).
The -n option names the server, the default is the
machine host name.
If the -d option is used, Timelord stays in the fore-
ground and prints debugging information about activity,
otherwise it forks and runs silently in the background.
