  19. Thanks for trying out this new and updated version of Thy Dragon 2.0 for
  20. Windows. Unlike the older shareware version 1.0 and the registered version
  21. 1.5 which had replace that one,. 2.0 is the best one! I have put together a
  22. much more powerful and expanded more dragon like sound effect blended with
  23. a young female princess voice crying out in the background to give you a 
  24. feeling of actually being in this underground cave.

  26. Version 2.0 now offers;
  27. The graphics are now changed, both in the playing area and Thy Dragon is
  28. prehistoric with the head of a T Rex dinosaur and now he has a tail that 
  29. you'll also see and hear pounding on your screen. Introduction Animation
  30. Screen  from the tail pounding, fire breathing effects and more.....
  31.  
  32. When you slay off Thy Dragon head you will also hear him cry out in pain 
  33. and the head fall too. Plus your mouse will turn from sword / shield into
  34. a brand new knight in armor. This feature looks now like a little knight 
  35. holding his sword and standing on his two feet!

  37. I hope you will enjoy playing this game, and if you do please mail in your
  38. REGISTERED FEE of $7.87 which includes;  3.5 diskette, packaging, handling
  39. and shipping cost. You will also get the entire full package of the 
  40. Registered version of Thy Dragon 2.0 with completed online help manual and
  41. etc..

  44. the bottom to see other important instructions. If don't have a printer yet,
  45. you can write down a piece of paper your name address, phone and where you 
  46. obtained this game from and anyother games you would to get also.

  48. Registration fee for this game in only $7.87 US FUND ONLY can be in the 
  49. form of a Check or M/O ( Money Order) but if you don't have access to 
  50. either I'll also take cash US though not foreign money.

  75. About the Expanded  & Continuous Multimedia Wave Sound Effects in the
  76. Background

  78. After the main introduction screen one of the above wave files will 
  79. begin playing continuously. To stop any sound playing in the background
  80. and etc use the new menu item Shh! which will only temporary turn off the
  81. current sound playing.

  83. Using both mouse buttons Left & Right

  89. Your left button is your action button, this could be a gun, big guns, baby
  90. bottle, sword / shield sight aimer and etc... The Right button is now used
  91. to bring up your game level control center. This will also reset the game
  92. automatically when you have finished you this area.

  103. GAMES that were made this year 1994 only need their  *.EXE, *.HLP, BWCC.DLL
  104. and *.WAV files
  105.  
  106. Installing 1 Game: DRAGON20.ZIP + DRAGN20S.EXE 
  107. NOTE: You do not have to install you new game in a C:\WINDOWS\GAMES
  108.       But this is the best method for keeping everything tidy on your HD.
  109.       Also you must keep all WAVE SOUND files together with your new game
  110.       no matter where you decide to call or place your game into.

  112. 1. I guess you have already decompress DRAGON20.ZIP
  113. 2. Now you will see 4 files;
  114.  
  115. a. DRAGN20S.EXE,  SFX compressed file which contains :main game files etc..
  116. b. WIN_A94.TXT, maybe you are reading this file now?
  117. c. WIN_A94.WRI, or maybe this one? Both are the same except for the graphic
  118.    on top!
  119. d. VENDOR.EXE, Info for BBS, Sysops, Vendors etc..
  120.  
  121. 3. Create a new sub directory under Windows called C:\WINDOWS\GAMES
  122.  
  123. a. Copy  DRAGN20S.EXE  C:\WINDOWS\GAMES
  124. b. Type DRAGN20S out in dos or double click on this file with this directory 
  125.    under the any File Manger
  126.  
  127. c. Wait for this file to automatically decompress
  128. d. Remove DRAGN20S.EXE from this directory now, because you won't need 
  129.    anymore!
  130.  
  131. e. Should you get an error when decompressing, just make sure you didn't 
  132.    decompress to a diskette only decompress on your HD (Hard Drive Only)

  136. 4. Now use Program Manager click on FILE then on NEW

  138. a. Choose Program Group; 
  139.                         Description: GAMES
  140.                         Group File: GAMES

  142. Type in Games in both lines then click on [OK]

  144. 6. Now highlight the new Game Group
  145.  
  146. 7. Click on FILE then on NEW

  148. b. Choose Program Item;

  153. Click on Browse then search for your new in the newly created
  154. C:\WINDOWS\GAMES directory.

  164. Installing but from WAOL Download Manager automatic zipfile directory
  165. >>>This feature is only for America Online User only who have this active<<<<

  167. 1.  WAOL Zip Manager Should have created the same name of your zipfile at
  168.     the new directory. In this case it would be called C:\WAOL\DRAGON20
  169.  
  170. 2. There should be 4 files in this directory;

  172. a. WIN_A94.TXT, installation and updated info about this game 
  173.    >> you might be reading this now?
  174.  
  175. b. WIN_A94.WRI, installation and updated info about this game 
  176.    >> you could be reading this now?

  178. c. VENDOR.EXE, Info for BBS, Sysops, Vendors etc..
  179.  
  180. d. DRAGN20S.EXE,  SFX compress file including Main files including 
  181.    sound and etc..

  183. 3.Type out DRAGN20S in dos or double click on this file in any FILE MANAGER
  184.    for Windows.

  186. a. Wait for this file to decompress automatically
  187. b. Should file not decompress make sure you have enough room on your HD only
  188.    >>do not use a diskette<<.

  190. c. When decompression is finished delete DRAGN20S.EXE now you don't need it
  191.    anymore!

  194. 4. Now use Program Manager click on FILE then on NEW

  196. a. Choose Program Group; 
  197.                         Description: GAMES 
  198.                         Group File:  GAMES

  200. Type in Games in both lines then click on [OK]
