PURPOSE: BCDP will control a CD-ROM drive when play audio CDs
in Windows.
REQUIREMENTS: CD-ROM drive, Windows 3.1, MSCDEX
USE: BCDP
Bob's CD Player (BCDP) is a program for the Microsoft Windows operating
system that allows you to control your computer's CD-ROM drive when
playing audio compact discs. BCDP provides familiar tape deck style
controls for your CD-ROM drive. BCDP's window is small and
unobtrusive, with the look of an audio component from your stereo.
This program takes full advantage of the Windows interface, allowing
you access to its features with a pointing device or the keyboard.
BCDP has the following features:
- repeat play
- shuffle/random play
- easy track selection
- auto play
All of BCDP features are described in the help file
BCDP.HLP. To view this file without running BCDP do the following:
- Start Windows
- From Program Manager's menu select File:Run.
- Type "winhelp" in the dialog box and press "OK".
- In Windows Help select File:Open from the menu.
- Find and select "BCDP.HLP".
INSTALLATION
Copy BCDP.EXE and BCDP.HLP to any directory on your hard drive. Add
BCDP to a Program Manager group (refer to your Windows manual).
LICENSE AGREEMENT
This copyrighted program is being distributed as shareware. You may
try this program for 30 days, and if you like it, or find it useful,
and wish to continue using it, you are expected to register with the
author. You are free (and encouraged) to copy this program and
distribute it to anyone, as long as no fee, other than a nominal fee
for the disk and shipping/handling, is charged for the program, and as
long as all of the files listed in the Files List section of this
documentation file accompany the program.
REGISTRATION
The registration fee is $10 (Canada and Mexico add $1.00, overseas
add $2.00). To register, send your name, address, the program's
name and version, where you got the program, disk size, and a check

To make it easier for you, I have included a registration form as
part of the help file. To print that form, make it the current topic,
and select "Print Topic" from WinHelp's "File" menu.
CompuServe users can register with CompuServe's Shareware Registration
Service. Enter GO SWREG at the ! prompt and follow the menus. Bob's
CD Player's registration id is 2781.
Registered users will receive a personalized copy of the program,
without the registration reminder, telephone support, and
notification of upgrades. Also include on the disk will be copies of
other Bob's Software's Shareware releases.
