  5. To view .pdf files, you must have an
  6. Adobe Acrobat Reader that is appropriate for your
  7. workstation. The files on this CD are best viewed
  8. when using the readers as provided on this CD. Other
  9. versions of Adobe Acrobat will read the CD but may 
  10. have some linking issues.

  12. If you have a PC, Adobe Acrobat 4.0 is 
  13. recommended and is provided  on this CD.

  15. If you are using a Unix Workstation and 
  16. Sun Solaris Adobe Acrobat 3.0 files  are provided 
  17. on this CD.

  19. If you are using a HP Unix Workstation, please
  20. reference the HP User index on the CD to determine the 
  21. correct manual number and name. Then find the 
  22. manual pdf files in the appropriate family folder.

  52. container or the front panel of the card for the 
  53. product name.
  54. Use the CD-INDEX.pdf provided on this CD to locate 
  55. the appropriate publication.

  57. Publication part numbers use the following conventions:

  59. ###R###_VREV, Issue XX
  60.  
  61. -REV designates the hardware version  (-000,  -001, etc.)
  62.  
  63. -VREV designates the software version (-V400 is Version 4.0.0)
  64.  
  65. -XX designates the Issue number.

  67. In addition to hardware and software manuals, always read product 
  68. Release Notes.
