BULLETIN BOARD SYSTEMS (BBS) SYSOP INFORMATION
This file, SYSOP.DOC, contains important information regarding the posting of
Personal Calendar to Bulletin Board Systems (BBSs), and requirements for BBS
SysOps. You can print this file by COPYing it to your printer with the
following DOS command:
COPY SYSOP.DOC PRN
The file already contains form feeds at a page spacing of approximately 57
vertical lines, therefore it is not advisable to use a program that contols the
lines-per-page count. For additional information on Personal Calendar's
operation and features, see the README.DOC file contained in the archive, and
the Help Text within the program itself.
BBS SYSOPS.
I explicitly permit the Shareware version of Personal Calendar (file
PCnnnn.ZIP) to be uploaded to and downloaded from BBS systems, including those
who allow downloads for a fee, such as CompuServe.
This permission does NOT pertain to the registered version, nor to the source
code (file PSnnnn.ZIP).
If you have any question as to whether the version which has been uploaded to
your BBS is Shareware, simply uncompress the PCnnnn.ZIP archive file and look
for the file CALSER.DAT. If it is there, you have received a registered
(licensed) copy which is not legal for posting; in this case run the program,
contact me and report the name and serial number which shows on the startup or
shutdown screens. If CALSER.DAT is not there, you have received a Shareware
copy which is legal for posting, as long as the list of file sizes, names, and
date/times match that in the README.DOC file.
This file includes sample descriptions which you may use to describe the
package. Disk Vendors and Distributors please refer to the VENDOR.DOC text
file.
PROGRAM INFORMATION.

BBS DIRECTORY Personal Calendar 14.20 deluxe, flexible,
DESCRIPTION: friendly appointment reminder/tickler,
clock, scrollable calendar, notepad, and
historical track. Run as normal program or
stable, environment-sensitive 6K byte TSR.
ASP Shareware $35. Author Paul Munoz-Colman.
SHORT DESCRIPTION:
PC displays a three-month scrollable calendar, a running analog and digital
clock, and a time-oriented event list and a text note list, each 300 in
capacity. A modifiable historical tracking is made of events and notes, all
printable. Warnings and alarms tell when something is pending or overdue.
Driven by a simple flexible menu interface, Personal Calendar can be a TSR (pop
up program) or not, as you choose; TSR use interrupts you at the earliest
event. As a TSR, an extremely small 6K byte kernel remains in DOS memory, with
the balance swapped to EMS or disk. TSR programming is extremely stable and
environment-sensitive. Personal Calendar is written by Paul Munoz-Colman, a
member of the Association of Shareware Professionals.
