You can use Y-wires to make multiple connections. Here, the Y-wires let you connect the batteries and the light bulbs in parallel. When the batteries and light bulbs are connected in parallel, electricity flows directly from the same end of each battery, through each bulb and the switch, to the other end of each battery. The switch will turn both bulbs on and off.
