  4. % This file must be placed in the fax file directory

  6. % This file is used for controlling which persons you will allow to send
  7. % faxes to your system.

  9. % All strings will be uppercased (capital letters). If you specify TURBO as a
  10. % string, both TURBOPOWER and GO-TURBO etc. will be found as a match.

  12. % Remember that generally people use their phone number as station ID and many
  13. % regular fax machines can only present numbers.

  15. % If you specify the $ALLOW command ANY station ID's that match one of
  16. % the strings will be accepted. The $ALLOW must come before the strings.

  18. % This example will only allow station ID's where 4264 is found in the
  19. % phonenumber. TurboPower Software will also be allowed to call.
  20. % This could be used if you want to be very sure that it is the correct
  21. % person or computer that makes the call. It could be used if you are in
  22. % a company that has several subdivisions and only want these subdivisions
  23. % to call or if you expect an important call and want to reject all others,
  24. % so they don't block the line.
