  7. Icom continues to lead the way in dual band handhelds with the
  8. introduction of the IC-W2A dual band handheld.  Operating on 
  9. 2-meters and 440MHz has never been so much fun!  Exceptional
  10. product design and innovation gives you the advantage of choosing
  11. the new IC-W2A or the IC-24AT dual bander. Replacing the IC-32AT,
  12. the new IC-W2A has a tough act to follow but with all the 
  13. additional features it will be the talk on all the air waves.

  15. *COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT

  17. The IC-W2A measures only 2.1(W) x 5.3(H) x 1.4(D)inches and
  18. weighs less than 16 ounces. For a perfect grip the new IC-W2A is
  19. just 6.7 inches around and features side panel ridges.

  23. The new IC-W2A has the capability to receive two band signals
  24. simultaneously. Receive on one band while transmitting on
  25. another.  Conversation is unrestricted!  Furthermore, wait for
  26. scheduled QSO's on one band while operating on the other.

  30. Dual band operation has never been so easy.  The new IC-W2A has
  31. completely independent volume, squelch, frequency displays and
  32. speaker jacks.

  36. Each band is equipped with 30 memory channels and 1 call channel. 
  37. These channels offer space to store the operating frequency,
  38. offset direction, offset frequency and subaudible tone frequency
  39. for simple repeater accessing.
