  2. PACKCOM.ARC on PC-EVE
  3. The Alpha test version release 0.0 of PackCom in now on PC-EVE under the 
  4. name PACKCOM.ARC.  This is a packet communication program for IBM PC or
  5. compatablies.  
  6.  
  7. I know of a few bugs in the program, but nothing major.
  8.  
  9. Features included as of now are:
  10.  
  11.    Split Screen
  12.    Scroll back of both the comm output and keyboard input
  13.    Pop of screens
  14.    Editing of Keyboard input
  15.    Resending of Keyboard input
  16.    Scan Comm scroll back buffer
  17.    Position comm scroll back buffer at a particular line no.
  18.    View disk file
  19.    Swap the viewing of disk files and viewing of split screen back and forth
  20.      without loosing your place
  21.      The above feature is not doc. in the Help screens yet. 
  22.      But all you do is keep hitting alt-V to swap back and forth
  23.    Capture to disk
  24.    View dirs
  25.    Macro Keys
  26.    Edit Macro Keys if you need to change them (instead of retyping the whole
  27.      thing)
  28.    Plus more .....

  30. This program is still not complete, but wanted to get out a test version
  31. to give everybody a LOOK-SEE.

  35. P.S.  For all the on-line help press alt-H, then alt-1, then alt-2.
  36.       Buffers are set for 500 lines of Comm input, and 40 lines of Keyboard
  37.       input.  Everything will run in 256K with memory to spare.
