------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shareware is a method of distributing software in which the author of a
program uses the computer's ability to copy software and people's desire
to share programs with their friends, to avoid the cost of advertising
and paying large markups to stores. These programs represent time and
effort on my part and if you are helped in passing your exam, send in
the five dollars and then I can continue to improve these programs and
write new ones.
I am not even asking for an extra Green Stamp for postage and handling,
so do your part. If you are still using a shareware product after a
couple of weeks, then it is obviously worth something to you and you
should register it.
General Information
Use GO to start the program for the first time, there is some extra in-
formation to be read that GO will give you. You can get help to some
of the problems by depressing the F1 key during the scan mode or during
the review of the last test. F1 will give the current question number
and the number of questions remaining during a test. If you are not
using a hard disk, make a Work Disk to use and store the original.
The Esc key will remove the calculator from the screen and allow the
main part of the program to continue. Esc will also end the program at
almost any time. It might be necessary to depress Esc up to three times
to end the program. During the setup routine, if Esc doesn't end the
program use Ctrl and C.
You can skip questions when taking the sample tests and the computer
will bring you back to the questions that you skipped until you answer
them. When you take your license exam, don't leave any questions
unanswered. Double check your answer sheet before you turn it in. I
suggest that you go through the question pool first and then try the
sample tests that this program gives.
