  3. The maintenance routines for this system are typically run once a
  4. day by the sysop.  At that time the following rules apply to all
  5. message files:

  7. 1. All messages marked cancelled are removed.

  9. 2. All messages marked as forwarded for more than 24 hours are
  10. removed.

  12. 3. All messages except bulletins that are over 21 days old are
  13. removed.
