  10.        Here is your disk containing all  the  programs needed to get the
  11.        COMMPC Version 1.0 up and running on your  IBM  PC  or compatible
  12.        computer working with MS-DOS Version 2.11 or later.  The programs
  13.        included on the disk are:
  14.  
  15.             COMMPC.COM     The stand-alone communications program.
  16.             COMMPC.MAN     The manual explaining the use  of  COMMPC  in
  17.                            detail.
  18.             RAMDISK.COM    A program to install a  RAMDISK  in your com-
  19.                            puter.  (RAMDISK  is  required if you want to
  20.                            save incoming traffic to a disk file.)
  21.             COMMPC.BAS     The ZBASIC source file for COMMPC.COM.
  22.             READ.ME        This quick look at the COMMPC program.

  25.        Both  COMMPC.MAN,  the program manual,  and  READ.ME are provided
  26.        already  formatted  to  be  printed  out using the  MS-DOS  PRINT
  27.        command.   Make sure the top edge of your paper  is even with the
  28.        top edge of the ribbon and print out the files.

  30.        In order to utilize  RAMDISK  you must add the  following line to
  31.        your CONFIG.SYS file:

  33.             DEVICE=RAMDISK.COM *nnn
  34.  
  35.        where  nnn  is the size of the RAMDISK to be installed in Kbytes.
  36.        The size may be anywhere between  16 and  900 Kbytes.  If no size
  37.        is  specified,  the program  defaults to  180  Kbytes.  The drive
  38.        designation for the  RAMDISK  will  be one higher  than  the last
  39.        drive  currently logged  into the  system.   For example,  if you
  40.        have a two floppy drive system, the RAMDISK becomes drive C:

  42.        Now, go ahead and print out the manual and happy COMMPCing!
