  1. The application could not load properly because it could not allocate
  2. enough physical memory in Windows.  The following is a list of steps
  3. that may help you free up additional memory:
  4.  
  5. 1)  If you are using Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups 3.1.1, try
  6. creating a bootdisk.  Sierra has provided an application which will
  7. automatically create a bootdisk for you.  Simply double-click on the
  8. Bootdisk creator icon in the Sierra program group and follow the 
  9. on-screen instructions.
  10.  
  11. 2)  Disable any programs running in the background.  This includes
  12. any other applications such as Screen Savers, Business Applications,
  13. Virus Detection Programs, or other utilities.  If you are running
  14. Windows '95 with the Plus pack, try disabling the Scheduler program.
  15. Make sure that all such applications are closed prior to launching 
  16. this program.

  18. 3)  If you are loading a large number of Fonts or Typefaces within
  19. your Windows environment, you might want to try removing a few from
  20. your system if you can.  Fonts may take away small amounts of system
  21. resources and memory.  Loading a large number of fonts can cause the
  22. computer to run low of memory.
  23.  
  24. 4)  If you are using Windows for Workgroups, try starting windows by
  25. using the following command:
  26.  
  27.     WIN /N <ENTER>
  28.  
  29. This will disable the Network drivers and free some physical memory.
  30.  
  31. 5)  If you are using Windows '95, you can try lowering your CD-ROM
  32. Cache size to free up additional memory.  To accomplish this, activate
  33. the system control panel, double-click on the system icon, select the
  34. Performance tab option in the System Properties window, and click on
  35. the File System... button.  Select the CD-ROM tab, and lower the
  36. Supplemental cache size (try a middle setting before lowering the
  37. level to the SMALL setting).
