EMT4PM6.EXE V1.41 EMT4PM6.HLP This utility performs the same
functions
as EMT4PM but is to be used for IBM's
WARP V3.0 version
08.12.94 Changes: V1.41
RECTRANS.EXE V1.0 CHKT_DOS.EXE This program is intended for use
instead of GETDIAL.BAT if downloading
from DIAL-IBM is performed with either
emulation:
IBM INPCS
IBM OS/2 Communications Manager
IBM Personal Communications/3270
It's more convenient and downloading
process need not be supervised. In
addition to RECTRANS you need either
CHKT_DOS.EXE (if you use DOS) or
CHKT_OS2.EXE (if your Operating System
is OS/2). You can discard whichever
of those two you do n o t need.
Refer to HELP function in the program
itself. Program is invoked by
issuing: RECTRANS in your work
directory. Be aware that downloading
can take much time. Therefore, though
RECTRANS program is still running, you
might possibly sometimes have the
impression of a system hang. If so,
reassure by the hard disk's light
flickering that donwloading process
is still ongoing.
16.08.89 Changes: V1.2 now shows total elapsed file
transfer time in HH.MM.SS in the
summary screen plus repeatedly averts
all 30 seconds that file transfer has
ended.
04.09.89 Changes: changes due to the fact that the DOWN-
LOAD.BAT/.CMD now contains omission of
downloading the FLFWAIT.EXE /.COM if
actually already existing in current
directory. V1.3 is the newest version.
03.01.90 Changes: V1.4:
Different host session can be selected
already on first appearing screen.
A different host session letter
(compared to the actual one) defined
in the File Transfer Parameters is
in any case forced by the one the user
has chosen the moment he invoked
RECTRANS.
02.07.90 Changes: V1.5:
. Possibility provided to specify a
target [d:\path] were to store the
files actually being downloaded. The
target directory is created if not
yet existing.
. Y/N-prompt allows indicating TIME nnn
parameter (value nnn being 180) in
DOS real mode.
. With ESC returning to previous screen
in the case faulty input is given.
. Help on each menu provided.
03.06.92 Changes: V1.6:
. no functional changes. Associated
dependent program CHKT_OS2.EXE
removed, since OS/2 version TRANREC2
available
. corrupted summary at process end due
to introduction of EPRWTDOS.EXE as
wait program.
TRANREC2.EXE V1.2 TRANCHK2.EXE This program may be used for down-
loading packages/files in those cases
where the HOST presents the message:
RECEIVE <d:><path>DOWNLOAD.CMD C:DOWNLOAD CMD A (ASCII CRLF
It may be used in IBM OS/2 EE with
OS/2 Communications Manager and
fulfills the the same task as
RECTRANS.
It's more convenient and downloading
process need not be supervised. Make
sure the associated TRANCHK2.EXE too
is in the same directory (current
path!)
Refer to HELP function in the program
itself. Program is invoked by
issuing: TRANREC2 in your work
directory or still better, make an
entry in OS/2 program selector.
Be aware that downloading can take
much time. Therefore, though
TRANREC2 program is still running,
you might possibly sometimes have the
impression of a system hang. If so,
reassure by the hard disk's light
flickering that donwloading process
is still ongoing.
03.06.92 Changes: V1.3:
. corrupted summary at process end due
to introduction of EPRWTOS2.EXE as
wait program.
. added is now subordinate program
TRANCHGR.EXE. Since TRANREC2 only
worked correctly in a UK language
version of IBM OS/2 you may now
rename TRANCHGR.EXE to TRANCHK2.EXE.
This will then perfom correctly when
you have a German (GR) OS/2 version.
. Icon file added: TRANREC2.ICO
LOADDF.EXE V1.1 This a Self Extracting Utility that is
used to extract files from a zipfile to
their original name, size, date and
attributes. Refer to the Licence

SERVICE.EXE (CSF) 08.12.94 Corrective Service Facility (CSF)
is a utility program that is used to
apply service updates to IBM's OS/2
operating system and to OS/2-based
subsystems and applications. In
addition, CSF installs service updates
in such a manner that the updates can
be tracked and, if necessary, backed
out. For further information refer to
