  2. FL: FL517 IBM OS/2 FOR WINDOWS - WINDOWS 3.11 COMPATIBILITY FIX

  4. The code of this package is required to establish compatibility with
  5. MICROSOFT's WINDOWS 311.
  6.  
  7. This code is necessary to allow IBM OS/2 2.1 FOR WINDOWS to interoperate
  8. with Microsoft Windows 3.11.  This code is not needed by customers who have
  9. IBM OS/2 systems or customers who have IBM OS/2 FOR WINDOWS systems but who
  10. do not have the 3.11 level of Windows.  This code is also necessary for IBM
  11. OS/2 2.1 FOR WINDOWS to interoperate with Windows for Workgroups 3.11.
  12. However, applying this update does not make the Windows for Workgroups
  13. networking functions available to the IBM OS/2 FOR WINDOWS environment.

  15. The provided NLV-Versions of the fix is in conjunction with the equivalent
  16. National Language Version of Windows 3.11.
