  4. Symptom:
  5. An external CRT with a device type of 632x or 952x (x = any number used
  6. in the forth digit of a display) may jitter when using a VGA mode of
  7. 640 x 480.
  8.  
  9. Problem Isolation Aids:
  10. Changing the display mode to SVGA 1024 x 768 will eliminate any visible
  11. jitter.
  12.  
  13. Fix:
  14. Use the 1024 x 768 mode as a permanent fix or as a short term work around
  15. if the customer must use the 640 x 480 mode. A new system FRU 85G0993
  16. has been released to correct jitter for customers requiring the 480 x 640
  17. VGA mode.
