  20. 1. I can't personalize the "Shift-Print Screen" key!
  21. 2. The template isn't big enough to fit on my keyboard.

  25. 6. I can't get ShortCuts to access any Web Sites.

  38. We are having a problem with this key - Windows is using it
  39. when we try to define it. We're working on this problem and
  40. as soon as a fix is ready, it will be available through the
  41. Online Update feature (registered users only).

  43. 2. The template isn't big enough to fit on my keyboard. ----

  45. Right now the template is a printout of the key definition 
  46. display. We will upgrade this soon to provide a better 
  47. template (I guess you might say we took a shortcut <g>).

  49. When this is ready, it will be available through the Online
  50. Update feature (registered users only).

  52. 3. Where are all the predefined macros? --------------------

  54. We didn't get as many predefined macros into this version of
  55. ShortCuts as we had hoped. We'll create more and have them
  56. available through the Online Update feature.

  58. 4. Can I use a different screen saver (for blank screen)? --
  59.  
  60. ShortCuts uses a file called KISSBlank.scr for the blank
  61. screen function (Special tab of the Define Key screen). If 
  62. you want to use a different .scr (screen saver) file:
  63.   a. copy the file to the ShortCuts program directory
  64.   b. delete (or rename) the existing KISSBlank.scr file
  65.   c. rename your screen saver file to KISSBlank.scr
  66.  
  67. 5. I can't enter a label when I browse to a program or doc.-

  69. When the program or document you want the ShortCuts key to 
  70. open is not in your Start menu, you must use the Browse 
  71. button on the Define Key screen to find the file directly.
  72.  
  73. To enter a label for this key, you must enter it in box at 
  74. bottom right of the tab BEFORE you click on the Browse button.

  76. 6. I can't get ShortCuts to access any Web Sites. ----------

  78. ShortCuts uses the default browser setting in your Registry
  79. when connecting to the Internet. If your system isn't 
  80. properly set up for this, the connection will not succeed.

  82. This is most often caused by uninstalling Internet Explorer
  83. and deleting too many system files. One example is when it 
  84. says (during the uninstall) that a file may be used by other 
  85. programs and do you want to delete -- and you said yes.

  93. 7. The Online Update is grayed out. ------------------------

  95. The Online Update feature makes it easy to get updates to 
  96. ShortCuts. It automatically connects to our FTP site and 
  97. downloads new and changed files and programs and then 
  98. updates ShortCuts.

  100. This feature is not available in the trial version.

  102. 8. I just installed it and it's expired!? ------------------

  104. There are two possible reasons for this:
  105. 1. This trial version expires on June 6, 1998 regardless of
  106.    when you installed it. This helps make sure old trial
  107.    versions really die. Please go to our web site at
  108.    http://www.kissco.com to get the latest trial version.

  110. 2. You tried reinstalling the trial version after the first
  111.    one expired. Sorry - the trial version of ShortCuts can
  112.    only be run for a single trial period (30 days).
