  8. DESCRIPTION:

  10. PGP has become a very popular method for establishing trust between internet
  11. users for securing communications. In order to grow the installed-base of
  12. over 4 million users, the 'pgp-protocol' can be extended to support new
  13. features such as,
  14.  
  15.     1. additional certificate types that are being proposed for various
  16.        public key infrastructures (X.509v3, SPKI-SDSI)
  17.     2. new cipher suites (elliptic curve, other symmetric ciphers) and
  18.        cipher identifiers
  19.     3. enhanced methods for public pgp key / certificate exchange 
  20.        (search, retrieval, revocation)
  21.  
  22. I'd like to explore the level of interest by conducting "market research" 
  23. and technical "brainstorming" on this topic. An open email list for this
