  1. 1. Draw the opening with a pen; then ask an adult to cut along the lines.
  2. 2. Hold the roof up with a straightened paper clip pushed through small holes in the carton.
  3. 3. Bend the ends of the paper clip to keep it in place.
  4. 4. Poke some small holes in the bottom of the carton to let rainwater out.
  5. 5. Knot the end of a piece of string.
  6. 6. Staple the string to the top of the milk carton so that the staple catches the knot.
  7. 7. Now, fill your feeder with seeds and hang it where you can watch your feathered guests.
