There is a charge for technical support services for KODAK DIGITAL SCIENCE (TM)
Arrange- and Build-It
Portfolio Software. To get your answers to your technical questions call
1-800-235-6325 (or 1-800-CD KODAK).
Please be sure to have your product registration number and your credit card
number ready to
give to your Technical Support representative.
Before you call, try these procedures first:
-Check the application ╥Read Me╙ and Release Notes files for information that may
pertain to your problem.
-Check the user╒s guide to locate subject areas related to your problem.
-Test other files within the same application, then try other applications. This
will help you determine if the problem is in the file, the application or the
system software.
-Make sure your equipment is properly plugged in and your cable connections are
snug.
For MACINTOSH users:
-If you are having trouble installing a new application, try turning off all
extensions/inits and control panels by restarting your computer while holding
down the Shift key.
-Disconnect all external SCSI devices, which may be the problem source.
For WINDOWS users:
-Restart your PC with clean ╥AUTOEXEC.BAT╙ and ╥CONFIG.SYS╙ commands.
-If you have video problem, try running Windows in VGA mode with standard VGA
driver through the Windows setup.
How to help KODAK Technical Support help you:
-Speed up the process by having your Arrange- and Build-It product registration
card already submitted.
-Be ready to tell your Technical Support representative if you╒ve made any recent
updates to your system, for example, new software, new inits, additional fonts,
or any additional hardware devices.
