  12. This CD contains the original Archimedes World cover CD as well as the newly produced AW CD2 (newly produced by me!).

  14. As well as containing *all* the AW cover discs from the start to the end, it also includes demos from companies such as Clares Micros Supplies, Warm Silence Software, Icon Technology, Abacusline, RComp and many many others.

Due to the nature of this CD, please don't copy it. Every copy will rob those in the greatest need of the aid they need. Remember, the fiver you have spent on this CD will be a fiver spent. The money will not be excluding the CD price or anything like that - it is a full fiver to where it counts. If you want a copy - BUY IT!

  23. While I've taken every care to ensure that software works right the way up from an A30x0 to SA RPC, I cannot guarentee any of the software. I have endevoured to ensure that the latest versions of the software have been included and there are no repetitions.

  35. This is the original cover CD, without the music track. This covers from the first edition right up to October 1995's cover discs.

  37. Changes made : Used long filenames for the software and replaced both the
  38.                Acorn FTP site and ArcFS for the newest versions.

  40. It is interesting to note that as of about 1994, AW no longer guarenteed that all their software was OS2 happy. If you look in a directory, you'll see a file called R2/R3 - this gives the details of which OS version it can be run off. This was well before the StrongARM.......

  42. I've created a contents file for each directory for quick reference.

  44. Just for those with SA machines, I've included in each directory one of 3 files:

  46. (1) : SA-Nogo - this software won't run with the SA
  47. (2) : SA-OK   - it worked!
  48. (3) : Notes   - this normally goes with SA-Nogo to explain what happens

  50. (3) does not always appear in a directory containing the SA-Nogo file.

  79. Krisalis Software, one of the former golden boys of the Acorn games scene have granted me permission to include their very first game, Mad Professor Moriarty. A cracking game with a sence of humour. Unfortunately, it will not work on a SA machine.

  81. Acorn have given the green light to the Clan Discs being allowed on the front, while those marvelous people at Computer Concepts have given over AudioWorks, Compression and MacFSLight

  83. Clares have allowed Rhapsody 2 to be included and SoftRock Software have permitted Trellis games to be included on the disc.
