  1. New features--
  2. -A utility section has been added to list the characters on the screen and
  3.  print them out using 24x24 bit fonts.  The characters can be sorted in 
  4.  various orders.
  5. -It is also possible to input new words and phrases from a text file.
  6. -When adding words for a certain character, Kongze can now suggest Chinese
  7.  words or phrases that contain that character.
  8. -When looking at the words for a character, phrases in the database that have
  9.  that character but which are listed under another character in the phrase
  10.  are displayed with an '*' before the number.  This way, it's hard to enter
  11.  the same phrase twice by accident.
  12. -The screen colors used are now configurable by the user.
  13. -The user interface has been greatly improved, including the addition of
  14.  Hot keys for quick menu selections.
  15. Changes--
  16. -The definition of which characters are "known" has been made more stringent.
  17.   A word must have been done right 15 times and the difference between the
  18.   number of times right and wrong must be at least 10. 
  19. -The file DIFFE.DAT, which has the difference level for each character, has
  20.   been renamed to DIFFE.DIC, to avoid confusion with user databases that end
  21.   with the extension .DAT.
  22. -Up to 100 words can now be added for each character.
  23. Bugs fixed--
  24. -Some common characters like shi(4) weren't included in the dictionary in
  25.  version 1.0.
  26. -The characters listed under a given difference level in version 1.0 may 
  27.  have been wrong.
  28. -If the main font is changed and it has been loaded into memory, then the old
  29.  font was still used until the program was exited and returned to.
  30. -More rigorous testing has been done with different display drivers to make
  31.  sure that Kongze 1.1 works with CGA/EGA/VGA drivers as well as Hercules.
