  1. Vancouver Turbo BBS Version 1.00: Commands currently supported:

  3.    C - Chat with Sysop
  4.    E - Enter message (Requires access level 2 or higher)
  5.    F - Files subsystem    
  6.      Files subcommands (Uploading requires access level 2 or higher):
  7.       C - checksum mode XMODEM upload
  8.       D - Directory of available (public) files
  9.       Q - Quit back to main BBS
  10.       S - Send file from BBS (XMODEM protocol)
  11.       T - Type file from BBS to caller (text dump)
  12.       U - XMODEM Upload file to BBS (CRC mode)
  13.       V - Verbatim upload file to BBS (no error checks or masks)
  14.    G - Goodbye: hangs up connection - can leave comments to Sysop
  15.    H - Help (displays this file)
  16.    I - Install user terminal (define clearscreen, backspace, 
  17. lower case on/off, prompt bell, linefeeds, and terminal width)
  18.    K - Kill (Delete) message
  19.    L - User Log (cleared periodically)
  20.    O - Other remote access systems in area
  21.    P - Change password
  22.    R - Read message(s) *
  23.      Read Subcommands:
  24.       A - Read all messages starting from a given number
  25.       I - Read individual messages (prompts for number)
  26.       F - Read messages from given user (prompts for name)
  27.       T - Read messages to a given user (prompts for name)
  28.       S - Read messages in a certain section (prompts for number)
  29.    S - Scan messages (prompts for start number)
  30.    U - Display User list
  31.    W - Reprints welcome file and bulletins
  32.    X - Expert mode on/off (menu display switch)
  33.    Y - System Information file
  34.    ? - Help menu (valid only in expert mode)
  35.    # - Display caller and message system status

  37.   * Message system: help file is message #1.

  39. Commands can be chained:  eg.  RA* Reads new messages since last call, 
  40. GN disconnects without comments to Sysop.
  41. Multiple character chained inputs are terminated with a semicolon (eg. 
  42. USERNAME;PASSWORD at signon). Do not use a semicolon after single 
  43. character commands!
  44.  
  45. Logon: System first checks for carriage return at 1200 baud: if any 
  46. other character or garbage is received, it switches to 300 baud. Wait 
  47. 1 second or so after connection is made,  then press carriage return 
  48. until system logs on.
  49.  
  50. Access levels:
  51.   0: Disallowed user: no system access.
  52.   1: Entry level: cannot send messages or upload files.
  53.   2: Can send and delete messages, upload files: Must leave name, 
  54. address & phone number in note to sysop while using [G]oodbye.
  55.   3: Access to hidden (non-public) data files.
  56.   4: (Reserved for future use.)
  57.   5: System Operator: Read/Write/Delete access to all message, data and 
  58. system files.
