DRIVE SAVER
===============================================================================
DriveSaver is written for all those who have an autobooting hard disk. The way
autobooting works is: when the computer is first turned on it looks for a disk
in drive A:. If there is no disk in drive A: it times out after 40 seconds or
so and then looks at drive C: if a hard disk is attached. This works pretty
much the same way is it does on most IBM systems. There is only one
difference: the Atari does not turn off the drive after timing out. It will
continue running untill a disk is inserted into drive A:. My program turns off
the drive -- in my case I wrote it more because I hate seeing the busy light
on!!
DriveSaver should be copied to the AUTO folder on drive C:. This program is
only of any practical use to those with an autobooting hard disk.
Please keep and distribute this program freely. This program was written in
GFA Basic, if you are interested in the source code please contact me on GEnie;
my mailbox address is B.SCHOB.
