Everybody knows that pirating is wrong. Everybody knows that
it is illegal. Then why is it going on everywhere? Why isn't there
anyone trying to stop it? After all, we're going to end up the losers.
We'll pay higher prices for software, and have companies stop producing
software. Just look at what is happening to the 8-Bit Atari computers.
Why did you buy a computer if you did not plan on buying any
software? What gives you the right to steal other people's work?
Some people pirate, but buy the programs they use the most. Why
not take it one step further and format the pirated disks you don't use?
You're not losing anything, right?
The thing I hate the most are pirate bulletin boards. Putting all
that software out in the open makes me sick. I can't believe that a very
high percent of these boards never get caught. It's blatant law-breaking
that seemingly goes unnoticed. Do everyone a favor and stop calling
pirate BBS's. Put them right out of business. Hey, it's a log shot, but
stranger things have happened.
