Instructions.
The aim of the game is to keep
going as long as possible, and
gain a high score, by arranging
the falling blocks into groups
of the same colour. When you have
a vertical or horizontal group,
the blocks will disappear. The
game finishes when the blocks
reach the top.
The Keys.
Q - move level marker up
A - move level marker down
O - move blocks left
P - move blocks right
SPACE - drop block
The Screen
The screen is divided into three
sections. The playing area, which
is a vertical box with levels
marked on the sides. The current
score and the current level.
How To Play.
First of all you have to decide
how easy or difficult you want
the game to be.
You will be asked which level to
start with, and how many blocks
to clear
The level determines how fast
the blocks fall, 1 being slow
and 10 being fast.
The number of blocks to clear
determines how many blocks of the
same colour are needed, in a
vertical or horizontal line,
before they disappear.
After setting these the screen
clears and you are asked to get
ready.
A block of colour will begin
dropping from the top of the
playing area. Apart from pressing
the space bar to make it drop,
you cannot control it.
To make the groups of colour,
you control the rows of blocks
that have already fallen. By
using the level up and down keys,
you move the level markers. The
level markers are on the sides
of the playing area.
Position the level markers so
that they correspond with a
row of blocks. Using the left
and right keys will move the
blocks in that row. You have to
arrange the blocks so that the
falling block drops into a
useful position.
If by moving a row a space is
opened up beneath the blocks
above, then these blocks will
drop down.
Also, when a group of blocks
disappears, the spaces left
will be filled in with any
blocks that were above.
The game ends when the blocks
reach the top of the screen.
Note: The high scores are saved
to disk, so do not write protect
it.
Tips:
1. You get more points the higher
the level you are on.
2. Start on a higher level to get
a high score.
3. Clearing more blocks than the
number of blocks to clear gets you
more points.
4. Good luck!
