  7.      VIRCHEAT.TOS and CCMCHEAT.TOS
  8.      -----------------------------

  10.      The program 'vircheat.tos' is a
  11. cheat program for use with VIRUS, and
  12. 'ccmcheat.tos' is for use with CARRIER 
  13. COMMAND version 1.01, but should work 
  14. with other versions.
  15.      The two cheat programs are written
  16. entirely in assembly language, and run
  17. on all Atari ST computers. They have 
  18. been written in such a way that they do 
  19. not alter your original game disk, so
  20. you don't need to worry that is is 
  21. being messed around with by an unknown 
  22. hand.
  23.      They have been designed to allow 
  24. you as much flexiblity as possible in 
  25. making your choices as to what
  26. features to have active. The 'user 
  27. interface' has been designed to be 
  28. simple functional as well as being 
  29. consistent from program to program.
  30.      Any feature can be switched on or 
  31. off by pressing the appropriate 
  32. function key. Pressing the escape key 
  33. exits back to the desktop, and pressing 
  34. the F10 key once your game disk has 
  35. been put in the disk drive will run the 
  36. game.
  37.      The wide number of possibilities
  38. for ccmcheat.tos does initially present 
  39. a fairly formidable choice. By careful 
  40. choice of certain options game can be 
  41. transformed. For example, by chosing F1
  42. - instantaneous carrier movement - you 
  43. can go and help an island under attack 
  44. and launch a decisive attack on the 
  45. enemy carrier which will be stationed 
  46. nearby, or you could just go exploring. 
  47. Using infinite manta weapons F6, gives
  48. you an air superiority role - it is 
  49. quite a sight to watch ten of your 
  50. missiles track and kill an enemy 
  51. aircraft. Not that this will mean that
  52. you don't get shot down - the enemy 
  53. aircraft are pretty mean fighters. With 
  54. an unlimited number of mantas you can 
  55. practise dog-fighting with lasers.
  56. You could concentrate on practising 
  57. bombing runs, or ground attack. The 
  58. opportunities are endless. Careful 
  59. choice of the options can make things 
  60. just  bit  asier for you without
  61. making things too easy. 
  62.      Hopefully, by using these cheat 
  63. programs your enjoyment of the games 
  64. will be increased. That is the 
  65. intention.
