  5. This game is played on a cross-shaped
  6. board with 32 pegs and one empty hole.
  7.  
  8. A move consists of one peg jumping
  9. over another into an empty hole, and
  10. removing the peg that was jumped over.
  11. A jump may be N, S, E or W.
  12.  
  13. The object of the game is to finish
  14. with just one peg in the central hole.
  15.  
  16. When the game starts a menu appears:-

  20. End quits
  21. Inorganic makes the computer play,
  22.  using a random number generator. (It
  23.  must get there one day!)
  24. Organic allows you to play. To move
  25.  a piece, just press its letter or
  26.  digit.  If the piece may move in more
  27.  than one direction, press an arrow
  28.  key also. (Valid options are shown on
  29.  the bottom line). Backspace reverses
  30.  a move.
  31. History replays the previous game,
  32.  waiting after each move for you to
  33.  press
  34.   C(ontinue) or
  35.   E(nd)
