  3.                MISSIONWARE SOFTWARE - FLASH II UPDATE

  7.    Missionware Software is pleased to provide an online upgrade for 
  8. all current Flash II owners.  We're now releasing Flash II version 
  9. 2.11, which is a maintenance upgrade for all owners of Flash II 
  10. version 2.1.  However, even if you never upgraded to version 2.1, 
  11. you'll still be able to upgrade your version 2.0 and 2.01 with this 
  12. patch!  The file to look for is called "F211UPGD.LZH".
  13.  
  14.    Flash II version 2.11 fixes a number of minor bugs that our beta 
  15. testers and users discovered in version 2.1.  You only need to upgrade
  16. to 2.11 if any of the following affected your operation:
  17.  
  18. * Type Ahead Backspacing:  When Rubout was selected and backspace
  19. was used, the wrong character got erased from Flash II's internal TA
  20. buffer.  The text looked ok on the screen but was garbled when sent
  21. to the port.
  22.  
  23. * Capture Clear:  When clearing a capture that had a marked block, 
  24. when the capture filled a second time with new data, the marked block 
  25. reappeared.
  26.  
  27. * Silent Line with 0K Buffer:  Silent Line would crash during 
  28. initialization if its buffer size was set to 0K bytes.
  29.  
  30. * Wait For String Command:  This was ignoring case when it should have 
  31. been case sensitive.
  32.  
  33. * Keypad Enter:  When using Keypad Application mode, the ENTER key was 
  34. sending the wrong escape sequences in the VT and ANSI modes.
  35.  
  36. * "DL AS" Script Command:  Added for compatibility with older versions
  37. of Flash!.  You can now download text as a file.
  38.  
  39. * Memory Options:  If "User" was selected and the memory specified was 
  40. 256K or a multiple thereof, then the setting got chnaged to "All"
  41. and 128K at boot time.
  42.  
  43. * Terminal Timer:  The timer now counts all the time, not just when 
  44. you dial a number or board.  It resets to zero (0) when you use Dial 
  45. Number or Dial Board.
  46.  
  47. * Cursor Position:  In Vidtex and VT52 modes, if the host positioned 
  48. the cursor beyond the end of the screen the program crashed.

  54. version.  We're planning on releasing version 2.2 fairly soon which 
  55. adds even more capabilities for all Atari machines and new features as
