The ferry, with cattle and a man as passengers, shuttles across the river on a rope guideline, while in the distance, the river meanders through fields and trees. Many of the same topographical features are visible today, although the ferry line has been replaced by a bridge. 132 Bird's-Eye View of a Ferry Swinging Across a River ca. 1513, pen and ink 3 7/e x 5 V/e in.
