The contract shown here states that the painter is also obliged to pay installments on the dowry of the daughter of Silvestro, son of Giovanni. Because the document is vaguely worded, two Leonardo scholars have differently interpreted even the for good date of the commission in the course of their research for this project. Accordingly, new translations by both scholars are presented here. 150 mg
