Charon now has better support for Obolus. To make use of this however, you will need to modify your configuration slightly. Most important of all, if you have the "Use Obolus" option on, Charon's idea of the "outbound" folder is now the same as Obolus's. So in both Charon and Obolus, the "Outbound" folder must be the same.
For instance, if you have a folder called "Fido Stuff", and designate that as the "outbound", Obolus will create folders in "Fido Stuff" for every boss it encounters. So if you have three bosses, 1:234/567, 888:654/98 and 12:23/1645, Obolus will add three folders within "Fido Stuff", called 1.234.567, 888.654.98 and 12.23.1645 respectively. In these folders, Obolus will put the files that have to be sent to these bosses. Charon recognizes this folder structure if you have the "Use Obolus" option on.
If you're using EMSI as well as Obolus, Charon will now do something useful with the EMSI AKA information that Charon receives during the EMSI-startup. Charon will extract all addresses from the AKA information, and then send mail for those addresses. So if you call a system with addresses 1:234/567, 200:500/0 and 12:23/1645, Charon will look for folders called 1.234.567, 200.500.0 and 12.23.1645. If it finds a such a folder, Charon will then send all files that are in that folder. In this case, that would be the files in the folders 1.234.567 and 12.23.1645. In other words, you now have real, dynamic EMSI multi-boss support.
Note: Obolus will only create these folders if it has files to send to those addresses. If you have an address, to which you never send mail, no folder will be created for it.
