  1. README for Eudora Header Maker version 1.0.1 released April 1995:

  4. This is a simple editor that presents you with a dialog box.
  5. In this box, you should type the header to be placed in all outgoing
  6. Eudora mail EXACTLY as you want it to appear.
  7.  
  8. The Basics:
  9. =========
  10. Example:
  11. A header stating my copyright to all email from my address, I would
  12. type in the dialog box:

  14. X-Copyright: Copyright 1995 Jaeson M. Engle

  16. and hit return. Assuming you don't already have a file named 'Eudora Headers' in the root
  17. level of your System folder, the file will be made. Move this file into the 
  18. Eudora folder in the System folder and start up your Eudora. That's it!

  20. (BTW: The error box you get if you do already have such a file isn't
  21. nearly as bad as I made it sound. Always remember to move the first
  22. file before creating a new one.)

  24. This is pretty ugly/ dirty but it works.

  26. Future enhancements/ features:
  27. =========================
  28.     • Opening an existing header file and change/ add the headers
  29.     • Standard Save dialog for your working header file and not a hard-coded file name
  30.     • Anything else I can think of or get a request for
  31.     
  32. I would remind evryone that this is not free and not in the public domain.
  33. I am a "starving college student" and ask a small amount of money to register
  34. your copy. This is a registration guaranteeing you to all future updates free of
  35. charge. This does not include the possiblity that this aplication will
  36. be assimilated by a larger one later.
  37. Registration for this shareware is US$5. Cash welcome, checks from US banks only, 
  38. please. Registration also includes any amount of tech support that might come with this, 
  39. I don't know what it would be though :-)

  41. This application written in MetroWerks CodeWarrior Gold, so some parts are probably
  42. under their copyrights. I only claim my own code as mine. Source code will be made 
  43. available at a later release.
