- README for Eudora Header Maker version 1.0.1 released April 1995:
- =====================================================
-
- This is a simple editor that presents you with a dialog box.
- In this box, you should type the header to be placed in all outgoing
- Eudora mail EXACTLY as you want it to appear.
-
- The Basics:
- =========
- Example:
- A header stating my copyright to all email from my address, I would
- type in the dialog box:
-
- X-Copyright: Copyright 1995 Jaeson M. Engle
-
- and hit return. Assuming you don't already have a file named 'Eudora Headers' in the root
- level of your System folder, the file will be made. Move this file into the
- Eudora folder in the System folder and start up your Eudora. That's it!
-
- (BTW: The error box you get if you do already have such a file isn't
- nearly as bad as I made it sound. Always remember to move the first
- file before creating a new one.)
-
- This is pretty ugly/ dirty but it works.
-
- Future enhancements/ features:
- =========================
- • Opening an existing header file and change/ add the headers
- • Standard Save dialog for your working header file and not a hard-coded file name
- • Anything else I can think of or get a request for
-
- I would remind evryone that this is not free and not in the public domain.
- I am a "starving college student" and ask a small amount of money to register
- your copy. This is a registration guaranteeing you to all future updates free of
- charge. This does not include the possiblity that this aplication will
- be assimilated by a larger one later.
- Registration for this shareware is US$5. Cash welcome, checks from US banks only,
- please. Registration also includes any amount of tech support that might come with this,
- I don't know what it would be though :-)
-
- This application written in MetroWerks CodeWarrior Gold, so some parts are probably
- under their copyrights. I only claim my own code as mine. Source code will be made
- available at a later release.
-
- Dedication: for Karl Ulbrich, cuz he dared me to do it.
-
- Many thanks to Peter Lewis for support of his libraries and for distributing his source
- to all of we little developers out here.
