  170. * If you switch to another application while the program is fetching
  171. information from the server, the program does not update the "Fetching
  172. whatever" dialog box (that is, if the application you've switched to 
  173. covers up the dialog box, the text inside the dialog box does not get 
  174. re-written).
  175. * Under System 7, keeping the signature file in the system folder causes
  176. an error message and prevents you from posting.  To get around this, 
  177. keep the signature file in the same file as TheNews.
  178. * There is an incompatibility with Norton Directory Assistance which
  179. makes saving certain articles difficult.  To get around this, try changing
  180. the target file name to something other than the article subject (which
  181. is the default).

  233. Known bugs/shortcomings:
  234. *    CMD-. can't stop every lengthy operation.  The problem here is
  235.     that some requests must run to completion so the input buffer 
  236.     gets emptied.  The program must wait for all of the input from
  237.     the server before it can respond to the abort request.
  238. *    Group list occasionally reports articles available but none shown
  239.     when the article list appears.  The problem here is that the 
  240.     server reports, for example, that it has articles 100 through 199,
  241.     but in fact some articles within that range are unavailable (for
  242.     instance they were cancelled by the poster).  A 'catchup' operation
  243.     from the groups menu will fix the group list.
