  3. uucd is a uuencode/uudecode utility for the Macintosh.
  4. His main feature is to allow reordering graphically
  5. the different parts of the input file(s).

  7. It is distributed as FreeWare.

  9. What uucd can do :

  11. + uuencode data files (resource fork and file infos are ignored)
  12. + uudecode single or multipart files - no editing required
  13. + uucd also works as a "droplet" for uudecoding
  14. + the Drag Manager is supported for uudecoding (NEW!)
  15. + uuencoded input sections can come from different files
  16. + uuencoded input sections can be rearranged visually (Wow !)
  17. + uudecoded output files Type and Creator automatically set (configurable)
  18. + split the output file during uuencoding
  19.  
  20. uucd is highly System-7 dependant, but can work without ColorQD.
