To save the preferences assigned to a current palette as a default configuration for use in creating new palettes, select the "Save as Default" button in the "Preferences" dialog box.
All newly created palettes will then automatically aquire the preferences that you saved. These settings include tile size (Quick View, Standard, Spacesaver ), tile style (granite, marble, red, green, etc), palette orientation (horizontal or vertical), palette size ( 3 to 12 tiles showing ), titlebar and toolbar configuration (showing or hidden), and autoclose features (on or off).
