  1. Happy Birthday Macintosh MooV is a demo of  Text To Speech Karaoke movie!

  3. You have to have Speech manager installed (version 1.2.1 or better recommended)
  4.  
  5. Quick start:
  6. 1) Double Click "Happy Birthday Macintosh MooV" to launch DeskTopMovie.
  7. 2) Choose "Test To Speech".
  8. 3) Choose "Play".
  9.  
  10. Play Karaoke style:
  11. 1) Launch DeskTopTV.
  12. 2) Connect something (LD/VCR etc.) to video in, and play it. Use white as transparent color.
  13. 3) Switch to Finder.
  14. 4) Double Click "Happy Birthday Macintosh MooV" to launch DeskTopMovie.
  15. 5) Choose "Test To Speech".
  16. 6) Choose "Play".
  17. 7) Connect a VCR to video out to record the result if you want to.

  23.   In honor of the Mac's 10th birthday, Jon Kleiser
  24.   <jon@hdo.hdata.no> worked up this set of embedded speech commands
  25.   (with some bits modified intentionally to sound better - hence
  26.   "Mackintosh") for Apple's Speech Manager. You must have the Speech
  27.   Manager installed, and you need one of the many programs that can
  28.   translate the text below into speech. I found Speaker 1.12 on my
  29.   hard disk and it worked fine. You can find these on the nets as:
