  1.   There's no comparison: The long
  2. nose of the Brazilian tapir can't
  3. compare to the elephant's trunk, but
  4. it does allow the tapir to reach up
  5. to branches and pull leaves into its
  6. mouth. Though tapirs look like they
  7. could be related to elephants or
  8. pigs, their closest relatives are
  9. horses and rhinos. Like rhinos,
  10. tapirs have three %f,10,g\hoof%hoofed toes on
  11. their hind feet--but unlike rhinos,
  12. they have four toes on their front
  13. feet.
