The following procedure assumes that you are entering commands at the DOS
prompt and your mouse driver is loaded. If you are running MS-Windows or any
version of a DOS shell program, you must exit or quit out of them and enter
the INSTALL commands for MAN ENOUGH at the DOS prompt. If you encounter any
problems during the following procedure, please refer to TROUBLESHOOTING.
1) Place the CD in your CD-ROM drive.
2) Type the letter of the CD-ROM drive followed by a colon and press [ENTER].
For example, if your CD-ROM drive is drive D, you would type D: and press
[ENTER].
3) Type INSTALL and press [ENTER].
4) The Tsunami logo screen will appear followed by a prompt asking if you are
ready to install MAN ENOUGH. Click QUIT to abort the installation and exit
the program.
5) An on-screen prompt will appear to confirm your sound card type. Click
OK or press [ENTER] if the indicated selection is correct. To change the
selection, click CHANGE SELECTIONS to bring up the Sound Options menu.
Now click the current selection to see the other available choices.
Click your new selection. Now click OK. If using the full ReelMagic
card, the default is set to ReelMagic and should remain so.

Click OK or press [ENTER] to choose the default, C:\MAN, is recommended.
Advanced users can substitute a different drive letter and/or directory name
at the prompt.

files. If you used the default path, type:
C: and press [ENTER]

MAN and press [ENTER]
The title screen will appear and the game will begin.
HOW TO PLAY
-----------
There are a few hints that may help you win the hearts of the women you'll
meet in MAN ENOUGH. The game is simple to play. It's a lot like life. All you
have to do is pay attention, watch body language, facial expressions and
LISTEN! Keep in mind that your character will make a lot of gaffs in the
beginning, after all, life is experience.
Your "lines" appear as three choices. You make your selection by clicking on
the line you want to use. You may also press the number of the line you want
to say. After you have selected a "line", your date will respond
accordingly. All the women you meet will be different. They have their own
likes and dislikes, their own quirks and foibles. Of course, as in real life,
if you put your foot in your mouth too many times, your date may just get up
and leave.
If you have chosen to display text as you play, your date's responses will
remain on screen for a short while. After her response clears, your choices
will appear. If you want tho replay a previous response, simply press [F10]
when your choices appear on screen. A full list of the HOT KEYS follows:
F1 - Lists a menu of all game commands.
F2 - Save your game.
F3 - Restore a saved game.
F4 - Restart.
F5 - Pause.
F6 - Sound options.
F7 - Exit the game and return to DOS.
F8 - End the current date & return to gym.
F9 - Speech/text selection.
F10 - Replay date's last response.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
----------------
P: It says it can't find the FMP drivers.
A: Make sure your PATH environment variable set in your autoexec.bat contains
the following path:
c:\reelmagc
where reelmagc is the directory where your ReelMagic drivers were installed.
If you have renamed the directory that contains your ReelMagic files, put
this name in the path instead.
P: Every time I try to install the game my computer freezes.
A: If this problem occurs while the Tsunami Title Screen is active and the
on-screen cursor is visible, there is most likely a conflict between our Auto
Detect Software and the hardware installed in your computer. Follow the
above instructions with two exceptions, type INSTALL /A and press [ENTER];
then select your sound card from the choices offered at the Sound Options
menu.
P: The game keeps crashing or freezing.
A: Check your CONFIG.SYS; files should be set at 20 or higher, buffers at 30
or higher. ie: files=20
buffers=30.
Also be sure that your CD-ROM buffers are set to 30.
P: I have a Sound Blaster 16 sound card and it is playing too softly.
A: Press the F6 key and change the sound driver to the regular Sound Blaster
choice; instead of the Sound Blaster Pro option automatically selected for you
during installation.
P: The Pro Audio Spectrum isn't an option on the Sound Card menu during
installation.
A: The Pro Audio Spectrum is supported but there must be a line in your
CONFIG.SYS file that reads: DEVICE = C:\PROAUDIO\MVSOUND.SYS.
P: Music slows down and speech breaks up when the CD-ROM drive is active.
A: If you are using a Sound Blaster CD-ROM Drive (Panasonic model CR-563-B),
an updated driver is available from Creative Labs technical support and is
available for downloading from their BBS.
CREATIVE LABS:
405 742-6662 Tech support
405 742-6660 BBS (8-N-1)
We also suggest that you check with the manufacturer of your CD-ROM drive
to make sure that you are using the latest version of its drivers. For
your convenience, we also have a BBS number in which you can call to download
the latest Mitsumi CD-ROM driver. Our BBS number is (209)683-6191 and is
on-line 24 hours a day.
P: The game freezes whenever I use the keyboard.
A: Edit the config.sys file to remove the "POWER.EXE" line. Save and reboot.
(Power.exe is occasionally found in the autoexec.bat.) Power is primarily
found in Compaq and Gateway computers.
P: None of the above answers solve my current problem.
A: Call Tsunami Media's Technical support line:
(209) 683-9283 8:00-5:00 Monday thru Friday PST.
