| harder to kill, but they will go a little more
| out of their way to get you. Your only
| comfort is that you've mastered your single

| other small details that have been "improved"
| to add some more challenge to the game. So in
| you're finding DOOM2 a little bit

BEST.ZIP 20483 02-03-95 Mike's Best Weapons! This is a dehacked file
| to be used with Dehacked 2.0 and Registered
| 1.666. Just unarj into doom subdir. ( or
| where dehacked is) and type BEST. Here is
| what the file will do. Chainsaw and pistol -
| I know that I can make them quicker but that
| is boring. I just let them be. Shotgun - Now
| no annoying reloading needed! Just point and
| spray lead! Mini-Gun - Now a quicker version
| or the chain gun. Renamed Mini-Gun. Rocket
| Launcher - Now fires heat rockets which
| explode into a quick flash of heat. But, Cyber
| Demon has it now! It will explode in middair
| if it doesn't hit anything in a few seconds.
| Plasma Gun - Now Neutron gun. Fires balls of
| heat that destroy almost all of the targets in
| one hit. BFG9000 - Now Neutron550. Fires a
| slow moving super powered neutron ball. The
| only price is that it only does damage to one
| target - does not spread damage to multiple

BLASTER2.ZIP 7106 02-03-95 Barrel Blaster !BETA! v0.9 The Barrel Blaster
| is a BETA patch for id's DOOM (registered).
| It replaces the BFG with a new weapon -- one
| which lobs barrels a short distance (where
| they remain until destroyed). I have filled
| room with up to 25 barrels, great ambush
| possibilities! Does it work in deathmatch?
| have no idea -- but I hope so! This weapon is
| great if you have no other ammunition, the
| release patch of this weapon will have NO
| CLIP, so you can always fall back on the
| barrel blaster if you're out of ammo and being
| chased. I chose the slow frame rate of the
| BFG for realism -- I don't think this patch
| would have the same effect if you could spit
| out barrels as fast as the chaingun

| been shot
BMINE.ZIP 6490 02-03-95 This is a dehacked file that will turn pink
| demons into red plasma balls and spectres into
| green plasma balls that float and explode upon
| dieing or attack

CACOS.ZIP 4956 02-03-95 This is a simple patch which changes the
| cacodemons to start off dead and eventually
| reinflate somewhat like ballons when they die

CHUNK.ZIP 5259 02-03-95 A patch for Dehacked v1.3 This patch will turn
| your everyday rocket into a sargeant chunk an
| your everyday rocket explosion into a trooper
| chunk. (If you don't know what a chunk is, try
| firing a rocket directly at a trooper and you
| will see what I mean). The chunk doesn't do
| concussion damage, but the damage has been
| increased to compensate. This patch is
| perfect for you morbid doomers and those who
| like very strange doom games. The chunks will
| stay there; so you could see where large
| rocket battles took place. If you REALLY want
| to see a lot of gore, try getting a patch than
| will increase the rate of fire of the rocket
| launcher. You'll paint the walls with bodies
CLEFW21.ZIP 23351 02-03-95 Clef's Weapon Upgrades 2.1 5 new weapons,

COLUMN.ZIP 4980 02-03-95 This is yet another monster patch. The red
| columns take on a life of their own and
| explode like barrels when you shoot them
CYBER.ZIP 4956 02-03-95 Like CACOS.DEH, this starts the Cyberdemon out
| dead. This is quite amusing when a pair of
| feet stomp towards you with rockets firing
| from mid air above them
DH-ARMY.ZIP 7700 02-03-95 This is an announcement of two patches that
| will drastically change the doom environment.
| Both require the program Dehacked v1.3 (or
| higher if higher versions can still read 1.3
| patches) and DOOM registered v1.2. When doom
| 1.5/1.6 comes out, I'll release patches for
| it. By using the patch called ARMY1, you can
| fight an army of other players. Ever wanted
| to deathmatch against more than 3? Say, 100?
| This is a simulation of what it might be like
| - everywhere you go, there's green, indigo,
| brown, and red space marines, and they're all
| trying to kill YOU! If you use the patch
| BARREL1, you may be surprised by some rather
| unusual dancing leprechauns and flamingos (no
| barrels, of course!). The goal of these
| patches is not just to show off one trick, but
| to provide a complete and consistent change
| for lots more fun. Breathe some life back
| into the game, some big surprises are waiting

| warping them away to the Nth level of
| Hell.(Don't ask me how they come back for DOOM

| forces at work, there are no constants. Your
| new powers seem to fade and change, you begin
| to wonder if you are still under the influence
| of the narcotic "health" potions. Demons are
| dying strange deaths, Imps are (well, you
| describe it better after you see what they
| do...), Cacodemons are hurling dead imps at
| you and everything seems to be happening
| differently than last time you strolled
| through Hell. You no longer use the weapons
| for your own advantage, but you 'suck' the
| surrounding forces from the evil that has
| touched them and use the power to your own
| advantage. And of course, you have the power
| to shoot splats of your own blood that blow up
| like fireballs. You also have that Blue Flame
| Thing, and the Glowing Limited Flight BFG
| Balls (great for dark areas). But unless you
| use the cheat codes, you'd better be damn
| good! This time your body will be hurled from
| wall to wall when you get too close to one of
| the many BFG blasts that exist within the
| realm of Death and Magick
DMPATCH.ZIP 159547 02-03-95 This is a program that is used to patch the
| DOOM.EXE file
DOOMHOE2.ZIP 17623 02-03-95 A "fixed" version of DOOM_HOE for those who
| have used the 16REGVR2 patch
DOOM_V.ZIP 5359 02-03-95 Here you go ! You don't need DOOM II if you
| already have DOOM V. This patch is for DOOM
| 1.2 and DEHACKED 2.0. I tried to keep the
| changes in this way that the game is possible
| to play without any IDxxx help. (... well,
| maybe a IDKFA at the beginning of mission 2
| and 3 ULTRA VIOLENT...)
EVAPORAT.ZIP 20386 02-03-95 This patch was made with version 2.0 of
| dehacked. This patch makes all the regular
| enemies evaporate when you kill them (It look
| preaty nifty). I didn't change the part where
| they change into blood. It also modifies a
| couple of weapons
FASTWPNS.ZIP 21474 02-03-95 Dehacked Patch - Fast Weapons v1.0 This is to
| patch to make all the weapons ultra fast.
| Also this patch will change the chaingun into
| a Ultra Fast Super Shotgun. For Dehacked v2.0

FIREPOWR.ZIP 9041 02-03-95 Patch increases weapon capacity and fire rate
FIREWORK.ZIP 2752 02-03-95 Firework.deh is a DEHACKED ver. 1.2 patch file
| I upped the ammo values for bullets and
| shells, and changed PUFF to BFG blasts you ca
| detonate, and changed BLUD to Rockets blasts
| you can detonate. Grab your shotgun or
| chaingun and watch the fireworks display! But
| watch out for those sergeants, one shotgun
| blast and its all over
FLAME12.ZIP 7239 02-03-95 Patch that converts the Plasma gun into a

FLAME2.ZIP 6026 02-03-95 Flamethr.deh is patch file for Dehacked 1.3 a
| was made to work with v1.2 of the doom.exe

| could possibilly be and make the chaingun into

GRENADE.ZIP 39652 02-03-95 Grenade Patch for DOOM v1.0 Well kids, here
| is. A weapons patch for DooM that among other
| things includes a Hand Grenade, Sonic Rifle,
| and Justice. Please let me know if you find
| any bugs, and I'll see if I can fix them.
| This patch was meant mainly for deathmatch.
| Altdeath in particular. All of the weapons
| are geared for deathmatch. For example, the
| Justice weapon and Shotgun will have limitted
| ammo because they are very lethal. I think
| you will find a number of neat things in this
| DeHackEd patch that you have NEVER seen
| before! Hope you like it. I even used the
| DooM palette when creating my graphics, so
| they look very nice

HOESPAWN.ZIP 19254 02-03-95 HOESPAWN.DEH is a little treat I whipped up to
| test the function of several objects in Doom
| 1.666 that I hadn't seen before (in Doom 1.2)
| specifically the Demon Spawn objects. Warp to
| either E3M1 or E3M9 for the best effect; I
| won't guarantee anything on other levels, and
| Doom might crash. The "new" effects are
| centered around the large brown tree and the
| gray tree, which appear in the large open are
| of E3M1 and E3M9. Use of iddqd and id(k)fa
| are HIGHLY recommended. Have fun!

| file so the troopers firing frames are
| remapped to the spider demon. I used the same
| trooper sprites but his firing info is that of
| the spider demon. Finally the trooper will
| offer a good challenge for advanced DOOM
| players, and be more than just a walking ammo

| changed them all the other night when I had
| nothin else ta do. This is a DeHacked patch
| that changes almost everything that you read
| while playing, and while loading netgames,
| etc. Most of them are a welcome change from
| the usual "Picked up a clip." You should have
| Doom v1.666 and DeHacked 2.0 for this to work
| correctly. Have fun!
NODEATH.ZIP 6023 02-03-95 NODEATH.DEH is a patch that makes all enemies
| dissappear when killed, including the monster
| on the last levels(though this can be changed
| easily enough) The net effect is that since
| the monsters don't technically "die", you can
| run a game on NIGHTMARE in 1.2 and not have
| monsters respawn!

PLASFLMR.ZIP 82273 02-03-95 I was kinda disappointed in the flamethrower
| patches I found out there. So, I decided to
| sit down and try and figure out dehacked for
| myself. What I came up was a decent
| flamethrower, but I realized, you gotta go
| pretty far to get the plasma rifle, especially
| in a deathmatch. So the next version was to
| switch it so that the plasma (flamer) is
| switched with the chaingun. Now you can get
| the flamer that much easier

| and registered doom 1.2 It changes the
| hanging bodies and impaled bodies so that the
| can be shot. this allows you to "put them out
| of their miseries" and counts towards your
| kill / item ratios. Always have a backup of
| your doom.exe, I am not responsible for any
| damage it may cause

| the dehacked 1.3 zip file with a minor change
| The BFG is now rapid fire. Somewhat
| overkill, but some players in my family are so
| desperate they don't care

SUPSHOT4.ZIP 20194 02-03-95 This isn't a pretty patch, but it does what I
| want. And what is that? Why, making the
| combat shotgun a little bit faster! It
| doesn't turn the CS gun into a mega death
| weapon, rather, now it fires at about the same
| speed as the regular shotgun. I also upped
| the ammo you get from shells and guns to 6,
| with max ammo at 60. Not many changes, but
| then that's not what I was shooting for. Just
| something to equalize the CS gun. Give it a
| try, see what you think

| teleporter sound and flash. *RECOMMENDED FOR
| DM* First and foremost: This patch is
| intended to be compatable with deathmatch
| play. Teleportation sound has been killed.
| Period. Monsters, exploding corpses,
| telefrags, players, et. al. don't make a sound
| going through it. Teleportation is also
| completely invisible and nearly instantaneous
| (this is great for creating invisible,
| unnoticeable teleports in stairways and such
| to simulate levels)
