  9.     There are two possibilities how to install the Windows drivers:
  10.  
  11.     1) Using the SPEA V7SETUP (quick installation, update)
  12.     2) Using the Windows SETUP program (standard installation)

  15.     1) Via the SPEA V7SETUP (Quick Installation, Updating An Older 
  16.        SPEA BigWin Driver)

  18.     Start Windows and choose at the Program Manager:
  19.             PROGRAM-RUN
  20.     and type A:\V7SETUP.
  21.        (Only for floppy disk installation, does not apply to CD ROM install.)

  24.     2) Via the Windows SETUP Program (Standard Installation)
  25.     --------------------------------------------------------
  26.     Exit Windows and start the program SETUP from the windows directory, 
  27.     choose at DISPLAY "Others", insert the new disk in the corresponding 
  28.     drive and press RETURN. Now follow the instructions given by the 
  29.     Windows SETUP program.
  30.        (Only for floppy disk installation, does not apply to CD ROM install.)

  37.         1) During first installation the driver will be installed with the
  38.         lowest possible refresh rate at the chosen resolution.
  39.         If you use a high-class multi-sync monitor and you choose a
  40.         resolution 1024x768 and above, synchronisation problems may occur.
  41.         To prevent this, please choose at first the resolution
  42.         640x480. Afterwards you can change to the preferred resolution and
  43.         refresh rate with the utility V7SETUP, witch appears automatically
  44.         after starting Windows.

  46.         2) Installing graphical drivers for Windows and Virus Check Programs
  47.         Virus check programs, such as the DOS 6.0 internal one, which search
  48.         for changes at *.exe and *.com files, detect changes at the file
  49.         win.com after installing the SPEA V7 BigWin driver. This is not a
  50.         virus, because while installing the driver, driver supplements will
  51.         be saved in this file.

  53.         3) The Test button in the V7SETUP is not available in this
  54.         Software release.

  56.         4) The refresh rates that are set by the program TVGACRTC cannot
  57.         be used within Windows.

  64.         1) The SPEA V7 BigWin Driver may not be used in 80286 based
  65.         systems.
  66.  
  67.         2) VDD limitation:  Cannot execute any VGA graphics modes in a
  68.         windowed mode. The XGA driver supplied by Microsoft has a similiar
  69.         limitation.

  71.         3) True Color:
  72.         If you use more than 15 icons in one program group, a message will
  73.         tell you that not all symbols are converted correctly. These symbols
  74.         will be displayed in black. This is caused by a Microsoft Program
  75.         Manager limitation.
