  5. The batchfile V7ACAD.BAT is created during the driver installation for AutoCAD Rel. 11. This sets the required environment variables for AutoCAD, AutoShade and 3DStudio as chosen.

  7. 1. Select a font size as desribed in the previous section.

  10. Note:
  11. If you want to change the font size later, you can do that manually. For more information about changing the font files see previous section Font File for AutoCAD 11/12 and AutoShade.

  14. 2. Always start the batchfile V7ACAD.BAT before you activate AutoCAD in order to set the environment variables.

  17. Note:
  18. In order to make sure that the environment variables are always set before starting AutoCAD, we recommend that you enter a call in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

  21. 3. Start AutoCAD with the following command

  23. CD \ACAD11
  24. ACAD
  25.  
  26. 4. Select option #5 Configure AutoCAD.
  27.  
  28. 5. You receive a display of your current configuration. Confirm this by pressing the ENTER key.

  30. 6. Select option #3 Configure video display.
  31.  
  32. 7. You will be asked if you want to make another selection. Enter 'Y' for YES and press ENTER.

  34. 8. Select the driver option ADI P386 v4.0/4.1 display.

  36. 9. Continue to configure AutoCAD as described in the section Configuring the Aquila Driver.
