This is a 'line out' output, i.e. low level voltage. This means that you can either connect this output to active loudspeakers (ones with a built-in amplifier, recognizable by the volume control on the loudspeakers themselves) or your Hi-Fi system (the output signal is too weak for normal loudspeakers) or to a sound board, such as SPEA's V7-media fx. This output provides a stereo signal (3.5mm stereo jackplug connection), however a mono jackplug can also be used without danger of short-circuiting the SPEA SHOWTIME PLUS.
- Composite Video In
This can be connected to a VCR (video recorder), TV tuner board or camcorder output socket. Note that the antenna signal from the wall socket is not suitable!
- SVHS Video In
The same applies as for the Composite Video In socket. The difference is that the quality of an SVHS signal is better due to seperate signal lines. Use this input if your video signal source has an SVHS output.
- SPEA Movie Bus
This connector is intended for use with future SPEA products, such as MJPEG boards. The necessary cables will be available with the future products.
