It is possible to capture a single frame of an AVI, MPEG or other playable file in two ways:.
With SPEA's MediaStation
Requirement: Video In is active on the TV window.
Click on the Pause button when the frame you want to capture appears on the TV.
1. With the << and >> buttons you can exactly select the desired frame.
2. As soon as you the frame is shown click on the Record button.

5. Instead of clicking onto the Pause button and then on the Record button you can also click with the right mouse button ONTO the active TV, the result is the same.

The following dialogue box appears where you can define the snapshots. More information you'll find in the online help of the dialogue box.

1. As soon as you click on the OK button a snapshot will be saved as BMP file.
You can edit this Bitmap file in programs like e.g. Paintbrush.
With a Windows Hotkey function
1. Start the playback of the file you want to capture a frame of
2. Pause or stop the playback when you reach the frame you need
3. Click on the MediaStation TV window frame
4. Hit the combination ALT + Print
The window is then captured into the Windows Clipboard. Using Paintbrush (for example) you can then edit the picture and if necessary remove the border of the captured image that looks like a TV frame.
