The supplied OS/2 display drivers support the graphic functions of the SPEA SHOWTIME PLUS under OS/2 WPS and WIN-OS/2, but do not support the hardware accelerated video functions.
Start the OS/2 System.
1. Open the Command Prompts folder.
2. Open either an OS/2 Window or OS/2 Full screen.
3. Insert the SHOWTIME driver installation disk for OS/2 in drive A:.
4. Enter the following commands:
INSTALL A: C:
where A: is the drive with the installation disk and C: is the drive with OS/2.
5. From the 'Display Driver Install' window, select 'Primary Display' and then 'OK'.
6. From the 'Primary Display Adapter Type' window select 'Tseng Laboratories ET4000/W32/ W32i/W32p' and then 'OK'.
7. From the 'Monitor Configuration/Selection Utility' window select 'Install using display adapter utility program' and then 'OK'.
8. From the 'Monitor configuration/Selection Utility location' window enter
\SETMODE.EXE
and then click on 'OK'.
9. SETMODE will prompt you to set refresh rates for 640 x 480 resolution, then for 800 x 600 and finally for 1024 x 768. Currently available choices are shown in parentheses. The refresh rates selected will apply to OS/2 Desktop and Seamless windows.
10. From the 'Select Display Resolution' window select the desired resolution and then 'OK'.
11. From the 'Source Directory' window select 'Install'.
12. When the drivers are completely installed, you will be prompted to shut down and restart the system for changes to take effect.
13. Now select 'OK'.
14. Remove the diskette from drive A:, then shut down the system and restart it.
