  1. Command:        CREDITS
  2. Purpose:        Display your current file transfer credit standing
  3. Available at:   All command prompts (>)

  5. This command tells you everything you need to know about what you've uploaded, and how much you can download.  The following are displayed:

  7.         Total uploads:     Everything that you've ever uploaded to the
  8.                            system is included here.
  9.         Total downloads:   Everything that you've ever downloaded from
  10.                            the system is included here (including free
  11.                            items, Yanks, and Gfile downloads).
  12.         Default ratios:    Unless you have 'infinite' credit status,
  13.                            everytime that you upload to the system,
  14.                            credits are added to your credit balance.  These
  15.                            ratios determine whether you get 1 credit for
  16.                            one upload (1:1) or two for every upload (2:1),
  17.                            etc.  This is called a 'default' because each
  18.                            subboard may optionally be configured to use any
  19.                            other ratio as the sysop determines.
  20.         Total credits:     Credits you have that may be applied toward
  21.                            future downloads.  These may have been accumulated
  22.                            by past uploads, or may have been given 'free' to
  23.                            you by the sysop.  These determine the EXACT
  24.                            number of files and bytes that you may download,
  25.                            unless a subboard is configured otherwise to
  26.                            subtract any percentage of the actual credits.
  27.         Usable today:      Because the system may have in effect restrictions
  28.                            on how much you can download in any one day, the
  29.                            number of usable credits may be lower than your
  30.                            actual total credits.
