WinDownload 2.7 Readme
I designed WinDownload out of necessity! I was surfing at home, connected
to a 28.8k line and everytime I downloaded a file, my browsing speed
dropped to UNACCEPTABLE. I started bookmarking the pages with files I
wanted to download and downloading all of them later when I was finished
surfing. This was a nightmare to clean up after, so I designed
WinDownload.
WinDownload is a 32 bit, multi-thread application which can maximize
bandwidth on any size pipe. I've filled up my T1 at work! Drag and drop
a shortcut from Internet Explorer or Netscape and keep browsing. You
can download the files on demand or schedule them to download anytime you
want. Copy and paste a valid URL from any file or copy shortcut from
your browser or add a new URL manually.
