  5. Thank You for evaluating ActionCAM. We're sure you will find

  28. ****** IMPORTANT - RUNNING ACTIONCAM FOR THE FIRST TIME! ******

  30. When you run any of the ActionCAM modules for the first time,
  31. the Registry Setup utility will start. Press the New Install
  32. button to enter the default starting values into the ActionCAM
  33. Registry entry.
  34.  
  35. After exiting the Registry Setup utility, you may want to edit
  36. some of the default values. Start up Config.exe and browse all
  37. the settings. 
  38.  
  39. Especially important:
  40.  
  41.    1) The MAIN image directory. All CAM image
  42.       directories will go into this directory.
  43.  
  44.    2) The Main VAULT image directory. This is a more
  45.       permanent place to store your images long-term.
  46.  
  47.    3) The INDIVIDUAL image CAM directories. Each
  48.       entry must have the image directory for that
  49.       entry set. Also set the individual Vault entries.
  50.  
  51. Run the ActionCAM Control Panel. This will give you all of the
  52. modules to choose from. This is mainly intended for new users.
  53. as you become more familiar with the program and all of it's
  54. modules, you will be able to run them directly.

  128. "ActionCAM is supplied as is.  The author disclaims all warranties,
  129. expressed or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties
  130. of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose. The author
  131. assumes no liability for damages, direct or consequential, which
  132. may result from the use of ActionCAM."

  134. ActionCAM is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge
  135. to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your friends,
  136. but please do not give it away altered or as part of another system.
  137. The essence of "user-supported" software is to provide personal computer
  138. users with quality software without high prices, and yet to provide
  139. incentive for programmers to continue to develop new products.  If you
  140. find this program useful and find that you are using ActionCAM and
  141. continue to use ActionCAM after the trial period, you must make a
  142. registration payment of $19.95 to CAMSoft.  The $19.95 registration
  143. fee will license one copy for use on any one computer at any one
  144. time.  You must treat this software just like a book.  An example
  145. is that this software may be used by any number of people and may
  146. be freely moved from one computer location to another, so long as
  147. there is no possibility of it being used at one location while it's
  148. being used at another.  Just as a book cannot be read by two different
  149. persons at the same time.

  151. Commercial users of ActionCAM must register and pay for their copies
  152. of ActionCAM within 45 evauluation uses or their license is
  153. withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by contacting
  154. CAMSoft.

  156. Anyone distributing ActionCAM for any kind of remuneration must
  157. first contact CAMSoft at the address below for authorization.

  159. This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  160. recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for shareware
  161. distributors, and such distributors may begin offering ActionCAM
  162. immediately (However CAMSoft must still be advised so that
  163. the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest version of
  164. ActionCAM).
